Notice for Austin's Colony Students:
New sidewalks have been constructed for students in Austin's Colony. Both Westall and Vandever streets will have sidewalks that lead to Dailey Middle School and also connect to Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary. Due to these new sidewalks, buses will not be provided to Austin's Colony students to either Hornsby-Dunlap Elementary or Dailey Middle School. Travis County will provide two crossing guards at the intersection of Austin's Colony Blvd. and Westall St.
There is one small area in Austin's Colony that does not have sidewalk access: Chaparral Crossing. Until sidewalks are built, they will be transported by Del Valle ISD buses. The streets that are affected are Acers Ln., Belfield Ln., Best Way, Bob Temple, Chaparral Heights Crossing, Clear View Dr., Credo Ln., Esper Ln., Felicity Ln., Graceful Ln., Guffey Dr., Halliday Ave., Hatton Hill Ln., Hunters Bend Rd. (14300 to 14398, even only and 14400 to 15999, All), Imes Ln., Inicio Ln., Kind Way, Knighten Ln., Lucian Dr., Marcario Dr., McBay Ln., Dunlap Rd., Nordyke Ln., Parrish Ln., Plainview Dr. (14800 to 15029), Red Tails Dr., Ruzin Ln., Secure Ln., Senda Ln., Silver Wing Dr., Truthway and Yabers Ct.
