2010 - 2011 KCMSD Right Sizing Plan - School Boundaries have been updated to reflect the boundary adjustments for the 2010/2011 school year. If you need clarification, you may call the Student Support & Community Service Office at (816) 418 - 7505 or Transportation (816) 418 - 8825.

A link to the Find Your School program is located on the www.kcmsd.net website in the student tool box section or visit www.kcmsd.net, go to About KCMSD, on the left side of the page ---click the Find Your School link on the right side of the page
Enter address in Street: box and hit the enter key
If address recognized; the CCS Elementary & CCS High School will return on My Schools Tab. Pay close attention to the location of the HOUSE on the map (especially the cross streets), if it appears that the HOUSE is in the right area your results should be accurate.
If address is not recognized or HOUSE not in correct location, the Address Matches Tab will offer did you mean: and some similar addresses will be suggested. Highlight or click your new selection, if your selection is within the KCMSD; the CCS Elementary & CCS High School will be returned.
If the address you want is not listed after Did you mean; try entering less of the street name and let the page offer other Did you mean options.
If the correct HOUSE representation on the map is still not displayed; contact the Admissions or Transportation Offices for assistance.
Map Keys:
As you near the edges of the KCMSD, you can see that the street width on the map changes. The wider streets on the map are actually outside the KCMSD. Also, most street names on the map that are within the KCMSD are split case (i.e. 7800 Prospect Av opposed to 7950 PROSPECT AVE).
If the address youre looking for is on S Benton enter the street name S Benton St unless the address falls between 5500 5798 where S Benton Av is actually the correct street name. Also, on addresses on streets names like McGee you may have to split the name (i.e. Mc Gee St) to obtain accurate results.
If your lookup is toward the east side of the district, you may notice that some streets are blue in color. This area is now in the Independence School District, as the area was annexed from the KCMSD.
The map display has zoom capability using the vertical scroll tool (looks like a ladder) to bring you in closer to see the street names. The hand tool can also be used to move the map screen left, right, up, or down.
